Since the early 1980's, the addition of a vacuum suction fan to heated ironing tables has seen a drastic improvement in the quality of finish of garments being pressed. These tables also allowed for much greater speed of pressing and therefore a greater output of garments could be achieved.

Simons stock a large range of "Trevil" Vacuum Ironing tables from Italy. These tables are also fitted with heating elements to keep the tables dry and to allow pre-heating to the underside of a garment being pressed.
